Western U.S. - 2019
During the summer of 2019, my best friend and I spent two weeks living out of a car and traveling from Austin, Texas through New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, and Colorado. We had done a similar trip through California in 2017, but there was something especially striking about moving through these western U.S. states — how quickly the scenery changed, how vast the landscape was, and how small we felt compared to it all.
My friend and I have both done our fair share of abroad travel, yet we kept finding ourselves marveling at just how magnificent and beautiful our own country is. I hope these pictures give you a bit of that feeling, too.
